Ceylan Ashina OP organic
Presentation: More than 185 farmers and a management no less ambitious ensure for 20 years a continuous organic quality, of which we have the privilege to import a certain quota. Purchases are made sparingly, as the suppliers are often small family businesses. The tea fields are located in the southwestern part of the island, almost at sea level. They mainly produce and market green and black teas, but also some white teas.
Qualitatively our variety is similar to teas from the northern districts around Kandy with a rather spicy cup.

Qualitatively, our variety is similar to teas from the northern districts around Kandy with a cup, which should be steeped hot and 1 tablespoon rather than a teaspoon.
Tasting
The leaves are long, thin and black with subtle red highlights. They give a cup of a nice sunny orange effect. The aromas are sweet, slightly perfumed chocolate, spicy (nutmeg). All this on a beautiful powdery texture, and a flavor that stays in the mouth for a long time.
