China Needles Panyong organic
Presentation: This precious specialty resulting from organic farming comes to us from the Far East. This particular Chinese tea is cultivated on Mount Tai-Mu in the eastern part of Fujian Province. It is harvested only in April, when the new shoots start to bud. The long, slender, shiny black leaves with golden, flat yellow tips are real beauties.
Tasting: This tea looks like Assam tea which are both fine and spicy.
A nice roundness and a character close to Yunnan red teas, in the background a very pleasant tea to taste both in terms of aroma and taste. The shiny Crimson Needles of the Panyong Golden can certainly withstand a pinch of milk or cream.
Excellent for tea time with chocolate pastries.
